I finally got my knife today, and I'm very impressed with the build quality. The blade is perfectly centered, it came very sharp, and the overall build quality is comparable to my BM 710. I'm been trying to find a knife that felt as nice to hold as the 710, and this has the quality to finally match that. The liner lock engages nicely and the action is smooth as hell.

I'm a little ticked at myself though because I was trying to take pictures and something fell on it, though I think it hit the shirt I had under it and cushioned the blow since I didn't hear anything clang, but it was all slow motion so who knows. Of course right after that happened I noticed the very tip seemed to be slightly folded and I can feel a burr, but maybe it was like that from factory. Wouldn't be hard to fix if I was decent at sharpening.

Anyway, here are some bad photos for now. Not worth the scare I had with falling objects. Don't mind the cat hair on the shirt.

Congrats on the GB! ive been eyeing the GB for a while now! seems like a super solid knife with great materials:thumbup:

It's definitely solid, that's for sure. The handle took a bit to get used to just because it's a little fatter than I'm used to, but it's fine now.

And good news is I am pretty sure the burr was there from factory, I tried to replicate a picture before the fall and notice the same tiny black spot on the very tip in both shots:

I know I'm being a bit dumb but I'm glad I didn't damage it already.

The Gayle Bradley is indeed a nice knife, the only thing I don't like is the minimal choil. Since the blade and the handle is nearly on the same straight line it is easy to slip your finger forward just a little bit and get cut.

Agreed, I actually thought my finger would fit a bit better in the little choil it has, but it's very close to the edge. I don't think it would slip since there is so much to grip on the handle, but it's close.

As for what's next, no idea :) It took me long enough to pick this one, but I think I may try the Emerson CQC8. There are a couple Spyderco designs that have grown on me, but none that are really large enough. The Sage is a bit small, I like knives in the Gayle Bradley/710 size range.

I'll try to get some better pictures if it's ever decent out again. Lighting in here sucks.

I love the GB but I really really wish the liners were skeletonized. That's really the only thing keeping me from buying one.

Here are a couple more pictures. Still bad lighting.
