just got it off of www.spoonrivercutlery.com, picked up a spyderco sharpmaker as well.

i have really been wrestling between the Delica or Endura, and from the looks of this forum, there are many here who have had the same dilemma :)

the reason I struggled: i knew the Endura is kind of large, but i am big guy (6'4", 240 lbs.), and I’ve been carrying a kershaw vapor II. the vapor II is about 1/2 in. less in length. and about the same weight.

so that made the decision, not much larger that my current EDC, it's a better steel, it's not that pricey, the reviews and discussion here at BF.com... so, bang i bought it.

from what i read here... i will be happy :)

can't wait to get it, hopefully by Friday, but for sure on Monday.

thanks to all who contributed to past posts (about the endura/delica dilemma) that helped me decide!

Good choice. I have all 3 you mentioned and the Endura sees most of the EDC out of them.

I pack an Endura too... I also have large hands and it's the first knife with a hole that I have really taken to.

It's great I'm thinking about getting a second one.

I love my SS Endura. You can't beat stainless Spydies with a stick. Well.... I guess you could. It sure wouldn't hurt the knife. The SS Endura is built like a tank.

great to hear more good things about my purchase. makes me feel even better about the purchase :)

the reason i got the SS was because the toughness of it. and the clip factor. i did not know if the endura frn had the same clip issues as the delica frn (rotating clip because of single screw attached). the endura had the pre-drilled multi screw attached clip that could be mounted for tip-up or tip-down carry.

thanks again for the comments

Good call adding the Sharpmaker to your purchase. The video is a really neat touch. The Sharpmaker is a very valuable tool.

But you shoulda got a Military. ;)
