I purchased my first Spyderco today and I must say that I now understand what everyone has been talking about. What a well made tool. I needed a smaller knife because I was scaring my employees with my AFCK. ( I just wanted them to do some work). I stopped into a local gun store to look at a Delica. Then I saw it. The Standard. As soon as I picked it up I knew that it would be worth the extra bucks over the Delica.I have seen the light. Go Spyderco.

Welcome Aboard, Runby!
Spyderco knives ROCK!
You are now going to find yourself wanting more Spydie products.
Resistance is futile!
You have been assimilated!

Enjoy!

An excellent follow-up!
You will possibly want to look at the Starmate also. Then, of course, it will be stress time as you'll want them both.
Good Luck!

And call Smoky Mountain Knives quick and snap up one of those G-10 Harpies. I bought one 2-3 weeks ago and it has rapidly become one of my favorite knives. I'm carrying it more than any of my other Spyderco's (Wegner, BF Native, necklace mini-Police, Moran). What a great knife and what a give-away deal!

I've had my Military for a couple of weeks now, and it is totally awesome! It even impresses one of my good buddies who is not even into knives. It carries very well and can do anything asked of it. It's still shaving sharp, too!

Hey, keep up the good work! You know, if it´s true that God´s in the details, you must be closer than St. Peter.
And to think there was a time when I didn´t like Spydercos!! Well, that´s no more; and from now on there´ll always be a Spyderco in my life!
