I have just received my first Spyderco folder, the Military with a plain blade. This is an amazing knife; easy to use, scary sharp (I sliced a fine bit of skin off as I was getting used to opening it), so light, so big, so easy to carry. I haven't got around to using it much yet but it looks to be the perfect complement for the little blades on my Leathermans (Wave and Juice S2).

I'm glad I found this knife, now what will be my next Spyderco folder........? ;)

Sam, all you told me about this knife is true and thankyou for those recommendations - and not so formal, Glenn is fine. ;)

It didn't take long for me to buy a second Spyderco folder. I bought a Sharpmaker on Ebay and the seller also had a Delica II going for a good price, and combining resulted in cheaper delivery costs than two single items, so ..... in about 2 weeks (delivery time to Australia) I will also be the owner of a stainless Delica II. It seems I've gone from a great steel (S30V) to an average steel (Aus-6), a big folder to a small one, a working blade to a dress blade. Where do I go next?

I must agree - it's a great piece of work - just got mine about 3 weeks ago - and after working the blade a little, it's now perfect.

I complement mine with a nice little SS native - with a 50/50 combo

Congratulations on your first Spyderco. As far as a great knife to go with it, I would try a Kiwi. Reason being is that the Millie is somewhat of an intimidating knife and depending on the environment which you are in, may not be the most appropriate knife. The Kiwi is a very classy, little knife that really showcases Spyderco's quality as well as providing you with a sheeple friendly blade.
Matt
