I have been placing bids on ebay for Sage 2's for about 2 weeks but never win. I always get out bidded. Yesterday I did the same thing and this morning I woke up and found that I won the bid for the Sage 2. I thought dam it probably went to my max bid and to my surprise it was freakin $117. lmao. Yeah Baby.

Pretty cool for my first Spydie. lololololololololol

Life is good. :D

My collection is coming along slowly but surely
-ZT300
-Rat Izula
-and Now Spyderco Sage 2

You lucky dog! If I thought I could get a Sage 2 for that price I'd be all over it. I just picked up the sage 1 for around $80. Looks like you've got a good collection started.

Thanks. Im new to the forum so i have been reading lot and figured i start buying knives that everyone seems to like. i shouldnt go wrong. so far everyone on this forum has steered me in the right direction.
as for the sage 2 yeah i woke up and it made my day. I walkin around my house all happy. I even asked my wife if she wanted anything from the store. I think she is starting to suspect something. Lmao

Thanks. I cant wait till it gets here. I never held it or seen it in person so Im Very Curious to see if this will be my EDC and leave my monster home (ZT300).

Sage II is an awsome knife and you nailed a great deal. Enjoy!! I love mine. In fact, I don't recall one bad review on this knife.

I havent seen too many reviews. Wish I could see one in action. I was lookin for a used one for about 2 weeks but seems like everyone who buys one stays with them. Thats a good sign.

Bought this NIB from a store on ebay. Dude said he shipped it 1/30 without a tracking number. Nine days later I emailed him saying I havent recieved it yet. The day after he says he will ship out another one for me with tracking number. I just recieved it now. I dont know what he was doing but I think he ordered the knife after I paid for it then shipped it out. Never ordering from him again.

This is how a lot of knife shops operate. they are run out of someone's home with no stock. I got semi-burned by this in the past trying to find a discontinued model. got my order canceled and my money refunded after waiting 2 weeks of not hearing anything. Now i only order from online dealers who keep an inventory.

these sites are good to order from:

I dont have a problem with supporting small businesses but at least they could have told me the truth. I was worried I was gonna get screwed. Thanks for the sites.

Believe it or not, I think I know who you are refering to. I will not mention names, but I have been waiting for another knife from a dealer on ebay and it's been 14 days. Am I worried? Nope, not at all, I have the ebay buyer protection.
But this guy will be getting some accurrate feedback to say the least. when my knife or cash gets delivered. I too ended up bidding on the Sage 2, ended up losing it because the last 4 hours of the auction was away from my computer.

Looking at photos of the Sage or Sage II, it never impressed me. Then I got one in hand and it's one of the most comfortable folders I've ever held. I thought my Caly3 was ideal but I have to admit the Sage, being a bit wider in the handle, feels just as, if not more comfortable than the Caly3. I may have to get one some time. Maybe after I get myself a G10 Rookie though.

Congrats on your first Spydie, I'm sure it won't be your last! LOL

Nice score on a great knife.

The Sage II was pretty much a super knife. I wish it had the Para's blade shape though. (are we ever fully satisfied?:D)

One of the best knifes made by Spyderco or anyone else for that matter..and still I sold mine and went back to a Para. The Para, UKPK drop point, and Delicas are the usual EDC's.

Enjoy your sweet knife.
