Looks like I bought a Street Beat. I am becoming somewhat of a fixed blade aficionado and the SB looks just damn scary. I'm going to EDC it.

I'm hoping Noah at wastelandleatherwork.viviti.com will someday make a sheath for it. That would be totally bad ass.

I was tired of waiting for knives in the mail, so I went to the local B&M. They had about eight Spydercos in stock but only one without serrations. It was a black Delica 4. I was a little hesitant about buying a display knife but it seemed to be in new condition so I bought it.

Of course it was a little overpriced and I had to pay tax, but the sales lady (probably the owners' wife) was real nice and didn't mind showing me some of the knives. She knew a lot about knives.

It is good to know that there's a store near my house with a lot of knives to handle. I think that that is a good trade off for the price. I plan on going back there.

So my real first Spyderco is a Delica. I'm glad I bought it.
