I just dropped the cash on a Spyderco Paramilitary 2. It should be here next week. Not sure how I'm going to make it until delivery. LOL. Next on my list is a Manix XL and a Military.

Very nice folder! You're new so let me give you the 411 - PICTURES or it never happened!

I feel your pain, I'm waiting for a large Sebenza myself but it wasn't to long ago I was getting my first Para2, its an awesome knife thats probly why I now own 3 S90v CF sprint, Black G-10 with a satin blade, and digi-cam and satin with the orange xhp one pre-ordered and also the blue M390:D watch out or you could find yourself with a buch of Para2's :eek:its almost like they put addictive ingredients in Spyderco's G-10 or something. I bet you have that Manix2 real soon and many more after that

I'm working on representing the many steels in my collection. So far, I have 440, 1095, CM154, and now S30v. I'd like to come across something in M390, S90, and S95v soon. I'd also like to come across a Busse and try out the INFI steel.

The PM2 arrived today and I have to say that I'm very disappointed. There is both vertical and horizontal blade play. I tried adjusting the pivot screw with no luck. I had to tighten it almost until the blade was locked in place before the blade play disappeared. My first Benchmade was this way, but the others have been perfect. I hope the same for Spyderco. Even my Rat-1 has a smoother action and no slop. Please tell me this isn't the norm.

It's not the norm with my Spydercos, about sixteen of them. I only own one Para 2, but the blade has no play in it. My compression lock did tend to stick, which is a common problem, but I've worked that out as well. Sorry about your bad luck here. You should contact Spyderco about it.

Send it back to your vendor and have them give you free shipping (at least) for return like this and ask them to check the replacement before it's sent out. No reason to go the warrty route for a knife yu just got. Get on an email tonight and follow up in the a.m. Good luck. I have poor Spydie luck too. Comes & goes in streaks,

If I were u I would wait till Spyderco comes out with the military 2 it will be far superior to the current design ...... BTW the Para 2 is my favorite slicer in the game .....

I bought my first Spyderco,a Caly 3,from A G Russell even though I could have got it from several places online for a little cheaper. The reason I got it there was if I had found any faults A G would have taken care of it with either a refund or another knife no questions asked.

Hope you get it taken care of because the PM 2 is a great knife and yours is the exception and not the rule.

Do you have any infoyou'd like to shae on the Military 2. I love my Military!

The pm2 is on its way back. I would have done an exchange, but a suggested wait of two months was a little more than I could take. I'm eyeballing a manix2 xl as a possible replacement.
