Finally, after nearly 3 years of collecting, I've acquired my first Spyderco: the Sage 1! I'm really loving this thing. The pictures online really don't do the carbon fiber scales justice. It's just an overall beautiful piece. I can see many more Spydercos in my future :D.

Southard
Dragonfly G10
Caly 3
PM2
Delica

Some will have to wait until I have the funds (and the guts to spend that much), but I'm a real big fan of Spyderco now. I'll be hanging around the Spyderco forum a bit more now that I finally own one. :thumbup:

Congrats on the Sage. All the variations look amazing, but I don't own one. I have other knives that fill that particular size itch. Couple of delicas, including the Kahr Arms version, and I just picked up a techno on the exchange.

Nice. My first Spydie was a PM 2. The second was a Sage 1. Still have the Sage.
 
My first was the Delica but my favorite is the Sage 1. The Domino looks tempting also but the PM2 is on the way as we speak.

Btw, you should seriously look at the Gayle Bradley. With carbon fiber scales and m4 steel for $143, it is tempting me.

The Gayle Bradley looks nice but I'm not a fan of the non-stainless steel. I'd rather not have to worry about rusting. Plus I was never all that crazy about it in the first place.
 
After many years of discounting spyderco, mostly because of the proliferation of serrated and combo edges (which I generally hate) and profiles that did not appeal to me on their early knives, I've become rather fond of them very recently. I find their blade shapes and ergonomics to be top notch. They perform very well, and I'm quite smitten now. So I know how you feel.
 
Congratulations, jmflem. I picked up a Sage 1 myself a couple of months ago. Beautiful knife. It was my third Spydie following a Delica4 and a Stretch.
 
My Manix 2 just bit me and drew blood. You can see it on the blade if you look closely. Now she is definitely mine and I am hers. Lol
 
I now have three. The first did get lonely and, I tried to convince my wife, the other two were simply to keep it company. She didn't buy it. Can you say proverbial dog house!
 
I just got a camo PM2, it makes my 4th in less than a year and I'm already looking at a Gayle Bradley.
 
I wish spyderco would use that textured cf on more knives. It's my favorite scales of any knife along with some good micarta.

You're makin me jealous man! I've been wanting a Southard for a while now. One of these days I'm gonna have to man up and spend the money. When I do get one, I'll probably get it from the exchange forum to save a little $$$. My two favorite Spydies that I don't own as of now are the Southard and the G10 Dragonfly. Both of these are high up on my list of knives I want. I might have to get me a Delica too since there so affordable. Gosh...I want more Spydercos :p!
 
I nabbed this from the exchange for $210 basically brand spanking new. I was literally about to order the brown version. Awesome deal, amazing knife. The Delica is honestly one of my favorite and most used knifes. I'm hoping for a g10 version to pop up on the exchange as well.

Same here. I've had a PM2 for some time, but never really warmed up to it. Then I bought a sage 1, what a sweet little edc knife. Which then led to a Domino purchase,,, :eek: Watch out,,,
