154CM
dislikes:
no sharp enough from factory, easy to short out ;-) perhaps çi´ll convex
paint finish no to strong you can see point of knife after some stapling in wood
choil......I can life with it but I´d be a lot happier without it.
no shealth I need to make my own kydex one.
I have no pics but the back of blade stock of knife seems to be no perfectly horizontal grinded????
Anyway is to early to have defenitive conclusions about of this knife but now I have a new toy to play during summer holidays.
I want it become my bushcraft knife and in case I need some survival task not to be worry to break it ;-)

Great pics Faca! You know I like that knife to beat on! 154 cm from the yard is tough steel, once you get the edge you like, it stays!

What? Everyone knows stainless steel shouldn't be used as a field knife. Duh. :D ;)

I agree on stripping it. Unless you need to be tacticool, stainless blades don't need coating.

Nice man! The Mudd Puppy was the first Sykco knife I had in hand as well! Its great. I had a pretty obtuse edge on mine when I got it as well so no worries. Once you get the edge you like it will stay put for along time!

I have done some convex with sandpaper+leather to find "my edge".
About coating............I think I´m going to srip it ;-)
Kydex DIY shealth is in the oven
I´ll post pics these days

Congrats, the muppy is one bad ass knife.
I love mine & showed one of them some tough love awhile back.
This is a sample of what it can take.
It suffered a little gauling above the edge, but no damage to the edge itself.
Crappy pics, but you can see the smears on the side of the blade & no dings in the edge or point.

I modded the handle & exposed the tang so I could hammer on it.
It went through that 1/8" X 2" steel tube no problem.

The Mud Puppy will serve you well for your lifetime & beyond.
Congrats again facablade.

Oh & strip it!!Don't worry about the uneven grinds,it was made to be used hard, not looked at. ;)

I know these pics from scrapyard forum and other blending 154CM blades that are incredible.
I ´d like to have **************balls******* to do this trials to my knife ;-)
