My First Stag Bowie! -Video Added

A friend of mine gave me this piece of stag a few months ago. I wasn't sure if I'd ever use it but here I did. This smallish bowie is my first one with a stag handle and only my second time using this handle material. The knife is very simple. Nothing fancy but I made sure my grinds and everything else were to the best of my ability. I had a lot of fun making this knife and I'm very happy with the way it turned out. Might want to consider buying some stag. :) Super nice, Ray. Always enjoy your work....even with stag, now. :thumbup:

Ray it is very nice and clean good job on the butt cap and the clip it has a nice flow to it
 
Beautiful Bowie, Ray. You should use stag more often. It's great to see a Bowie come out of your shop, wish you did more. They really are flawless.
 
I am a big fan of stag Bowies and yours is beautiful. Looks as though it has a very natural "point". I think there should be more in your future.
 
I am always a fan of your fixed blades. Your bowies are always clean. It has been a while since I have seen one. Great looking knife here, and I agree, you should use stag more often!
 
That's a BEAUTIFUL knife Ray! Great proportions, super clean lines, looks like killer fit and finish...everything about it just screams "Bowie" to me. Great piece!
 
That came out great Ray! Your knives are the definition of clean, and this is no exception.
I am with Mike, more bowies!!
 
Thank you guys for taking the time to reply. Your comments are very encouraging. I'd like to make more knives like this but it's not what sells for me. They are fun and I needed to make one. Stag is my new favorite material for bowies. I just wish it was easier to get!

Ray, that turned out really nice!:thumbup: Clean as always. What I really love is the butt cap. Just an incredible job on mating it to the stag. Good stuff!
