I have to say that I have never been more excited about receiving a knife as I have been since yesterday when I placed my order.

Here is what I ordered:

STR Ouparator
.100 Ti with mod grooves
Blue anodized
Low rider clip

I might have to take up meditation just to make it the month+ I am going to wait.

Anyone care to comment on how their STR knife has served you since you got i t?

Take care,
Brett

Hi Brett.

I have a couple of projects ahead of yours but it will be riding on your pocket soon enough.

When you get the chance I need to know, lanyard? Yes, no, and mode of carry. Right hand, left hand, tip up or tip down carry for the low ride pocket clip.

Thanks and stay tuned. I post progress pictures here on my forum as the work progresses so you will know where it is and how close its getting when I get started on it.

Hi Steve,
I am MORE than happy to wait. Actually, it's good character development for me. This will be my FIRST custom and I kind of want to draw out the anticipation. Plus, I believe in taking my turn.

Lanyard: Yes.
Mode of Carry: Back right pocket of pants
Hand: Right handed
Clip: tip up
Color: I decided to go au-natural on the Ti handle.

Thanks for making me this knife. I am excited. I have only had production folders thus far.

Thanks Steve,
Brett

gosh, looks like knee surgery might stand in my way of getting my knife right now. Saw an orthopedic surgeon today and he things it is acl, meniscus, blah surgery for me. I went in monday for a sore knee that had been giving me problems and my doc immediately sent me to an OS.

I should know soon as I get the mri. I am hoping for the best.

Yes, we are waiting for the first pics of possibly one of the best custom folders in the CONUS. The surgery you are contemplating should be a quick OP orthoscopic job and you should be home quick maybe on crutches. In any event the priority is (1) successfull surgery, and (2) that little package in your hands and (3) a follow up report to us.

Good luck.

Get your medical needs taken care of. I've got plenty to do in the mean time and I'm easy to reach when and if you still want to get one of my folders.

Thanks guys. I appreciate the sentiment. I am a bit worried as 1. I have never had surgery and 2. I was just sure I had pulled a muscle. Kind of a surprise. Life happens.

Should know soon. Tanks for the nice thoughts.

Guys, I bought one of Steve's STR Ouparator and it is my favorite EDC, I bought a small sebenza and I loved it,but it could not replace STR Ouparator. The ouparator was out of my pocket one day and I couldn't stand it. Sold the Sebenza and put ouparator back in my pocket.

Wow. Thats quite a compliment. I am really flattered that one of my pieces could do such a feat as actually bump a Sebbie out of the pocket! Who'd a thunk it??:D
