My first Straight Line Russell Barlow

I love the old John Russell Barlow knives. I have owned a small curved stamp Russell and a large curved stamp but today I traded for my first Straight Line stamp Barlow From what I have read that makes it from prior to the merger with harrington. Plenty of snap but the small blade has considerable wear.

Sometime between 1878-1933 but I don't believe there is a way to pinpoint it any closer

It's a shame it doesn't! Love the idea of a club where owning a particular knife is the only membership requirement.

Man I love the old Barlows. Bring back so many memories for me. The first pocket knife I ever owned was a Barlow my grandfather gave me for helping him with some fencing when I was about ten or eleven a looong time ago. Thanks for posting.
