I bought this gem from Todd Davison. I've been watching him turn out stunning slippies and I had to have one. I don't have it in hand yet, but I'm sure I won't be disappointed. Ironwood scales, nickel silver liners and bolsters, with a damascus wharncliffe blade. Who could ask for more.

This will be a user, that I hope to have to years to come and hand down to my son.

That is a beauty!! Huge CONGRATS on scoring THAT beauty!!I LOVE T.A. Davison's work too. I can't wait until I CAN afford to get one of his knives.

Todd,
I received the knife today. Its everything I expected it would be. I'm more than pleased with it. Here is the funny part.

I had the knife shipped to my work so someone would be able to sign for it. I got the knife today from the receptionist and headed right to my locker room to open it up. I took it out of the sheath to examine the knife. Nice sheath btw. I admired the craftsmanship for a while, looked it over from every angle. Then I went to open it. Wouldn't ya know I dropped it right on the stone tile floor. It dropped like a dart and landed right on the wharnie tip. "F**K," I screamed! I picked it up and found that about 1 mm of the tip had broke.(it was a long drop on a hard floor, would have happened to any fine tip knife) My heart sank. It was a surreal moment, all in slow motion. I was almost in tears when I realized that, this little chip just adds character to my new knife. Now I can use it daily, which I intended, and not feel bad about it at all.

Thanks again Todd. It has been my pleasure to do business with you. I love the knife and plan on using it for years to come. Greg
