Ok, if you know me - fine - if not i can see well, spell or read. Due too eyes issues, i look away from screen.

"confession" i have too look away and look through my fingers, like sun blindness permanent

I confess, i hated spiders, i thought the spider patent was C$ap.

I had, 2 spyderco's and 2 kershaws with that design, must admitt, i have moved a recent knife i go6t a few days ago, too my carry apple. (the apple is basket from applebees)

Tonight i moved the knife from the apple too my pocket.

After a few hours, i am converted, all the BF S-co junkies. I am sorry. This design may,,,,,, i say may, actually be the best EDC?

Sorry Sal. I own many hundreds of knives.... and fact is all my past samples where too small. Perhaps i am just dumb?

I FIND WHEN MY THUMB FITS WELL INTO THE WELL - THE KNIFE IS NEAR FOOL PROOF!

The only thing that might be better is AO, which i preach should not be carried, as i person in my town was charged with auto in knife fight, it was AO. Charges were dropped.

What? It may just be me being tired and all but I have no idea what you're talking about.

Can't tell if you're carrying a Spyderco or just an apple.

But.. uhmm.. welcome to the Spyderco club.

this post was so confusing, hahaha. it's like the internet meme: "Has anyone really been far even as decided to use even go want to do look more like?"

Also, dragonsprayer, I got further and further lost reading your post that I forgot the first thing you mentioned. I'm sorry to read about your vision problem, but kudos to you for plugging away at the computer and being a part of BF.

So what model Spyderco are we talking about?
Are you commenting on how you like the thumb hole?
Were you saying that you sheathed your knife in an apple for several days and that the blade turned out perfectly fine, or were you saying how you initially relegated the knife to carry in your basket (your "apple"), but recently promoted it to pocket carry?

Please enlighten.

What? Wait... Alright, I'll be back tomorrow Im sure it will all make sense then.

His "apple" is a basket from the Applebee's Restaurant chain that he uses to keep things like pocket knives handy when he is not carrying them. He recently promoted a Spyderco from the basket to his pocket and found that he likes the opening hole even though he didn't think he would. Also, he doesn't think carrying an assisted opener is a good idea where he is since local law enforcement can't tell the difference between AO and automatic.

total spider convertee, after further 24 hours with this knife it may, actually be the most reliable non AO knife system.

knife was given away 3.6 hours ago

i be getting more to test. sorry i was wrong in all my other posts

lol!

the apple is my basket from applebies - lol! i thought i throw a curve.

ya, i am looking for some spyders i have some bill buchmans i am selling for bills widow if you like too trade - cash plus knives for bill or might have somthing too trade.

this is the knife below, it is gone, i gave for a wedding gift too the groom with his regular gift:

I have found a few models too buy, but recommendations are wanted on the larger thumb flipper - i really like that knife and i miss it already

Ah, the Spyderco Tenacious. Truly a great knife for the money.
It's a good gift too.
You'll find another Spyderco you like. If the ones you've tried before were too small, check out some of their larger offerings.
Spyderco truly does make great knives and I'm sure there's another one out there that you may adore.
I like how you keep your knives in a basket. I generally have mine in a 12-slot pocket knife case.

If you miss your Tenacious, you could get yourself another. They're pretty cheap. You could even get one in all black or Blue or Green.

Whew, this is like reading James Joyce all over again!

But, really, congratulations on your Spyder! I think you'll find nothing else will quite fit right anymore ;)
