I'm so happy with this first of many purchases. I chose this knife because I'm a dog person and I loved the way the blade looked. I don't think I've ever been happier with a knife and this kabar dogs head will be in my pocket from now on.

Hmmm what will I get next?

Nice knife, congratulations  Welcome to the world of traditionals :)

Great choice, indeed! Now you need a GEC #15. And a gunstock. And a Barlow. And a stockman. and a.... Wait, what was I saying? ;)

Good to hear! I always thought they missed their chance, and should have called them 'Ka-Bark' knifes! :D

Congratulations on your first traditional folder, Scotty! Looks good  How does your dog like it? :D

What was the first job you gave it?

The world of traditionals is vast and a slippery slope for sure! Good luck down the rabbit hole!!! LOL
P.S. Buy a peanut!

Welcome and congrats. that looks like it'll do you just fine. Maybe you can compliment that Dog with a mercator black cat.

Another vote for a dogleg, then you will have the whole dog.
All jokes aside, I have the Kabar stockman, you picked up a great knife.

Your addiction will not be "complete" until you get yourself a SAK, preferably a sizzling hot alox model.:D

Congrats on your new puppy.

Get a spinning wheel like those at the carnivals or on the game shows. Have someone load pictures with labels of different patterns and scale materials into the slots. Then just give it a spin and buy what it lands on. You've already taken the first sliding step down the rabbit hole and things just pick up from here.

If you want be really selective then just prescreen the selections so that you leave out those patterns you absolutely don't like right now. Just have whoever loads the wheel replace whatever comes up with a new pic/label before you spin again.

Oh yeah, and nice Dog!

Welcome to the asylum. That's a mighty fine choice for a first. It's kind of scary seeing that you're already thinking about your next. You're already doomed. :(

Great looking knife, I love the different ways Rams horn can look under light.

I have been lusting over a Kabar stockman with the copper bolsters and root beer bone.

Canal Street makes can make a fine knife.
