...WEll, i did take a few others that you'll find on the other side of this link. The one that some of you may not recognize consists of a beautiful set of handels by Mer with purple heart wood inserts in SS and a BM 259 blade :) Hope you enjoy!

sweet man!
it must be great to own a knife such as that. wish i too was so lucky... :(

I see you've had a very good Novemeber. That Purpleheart Mer's bali looks very nice next to the 49-01. Sweet. :)

I agree with Tony, the picture with the three knives is beautiful. Mer's work looks really great next to the 49-01.

And that's a great picture of the warning label. I guess some folks here forgot to read it before they cut themselves to the bone. ;) ;)

Nice pics!

No, I read the warning, but got really exciting flipping my 49-01 that I forgot what I had and did a move that required the blade to ricochet of the finger. I was so totally mesmerized by the beauty of the 49-01 I forgot about the warning, I swear.... ;)

You nailed Tachyon. Great picture. No problem with your handles turning black. Good details. The exposure is just about right.

Wow...those are really your first try at photos Masse?? Those look very good to me! I'm so gutless with the camera stuff, and always feel like the first thing I post will be a "Blob"...lol

Those look great!! If you don't mind mentioning it.., are those with a high-end pricey camera, or something under $400?

Thanks for sharing the pictures...

Thanks for the encouragement guys! Allthough it's my first shot with the camera I could deffinately get in to this! Hearing good things from you on photography Chuck and I know i'm doing something right!

ExamonLyf, In answer to your question, I'm lucky in that my dad is a botonist and has a fairly nice camera, paid somewhere between 900 and 1000. I'm *hoping* for my own around x-mas time and can't wait! I've always been fascinated by the idea of getting involved in photography but just havn't done it yet. I usually have access to descent cameras, and having a digital i'm sure i'll go crazy with it. Hope to have more for you soon!

Yeah everytime I really like pictures...they are either taken by someone that really knows what they are doing, or with a camera that equates to ~~> $1000 = (2) less Balisongs.....greed is a pervasive characterological fault! :(

I must strategize now.., and find a way to take some "OK" pictures, and not damage my lust for more knives.

Tell me about it!!! I'm a working man, in school maybe, but I could have had a camera anytime I wanted, yet the only hope of it taking precedence over bali's is as a gift from family! We deffinately need some kind of support group!;):p

Like everyone said, great pics man. You can actually see why the tachyon sometimes appears to be black and sometimes not.

As for digital photography, I advocate Chuck's method, which is using a film camera and scanning either prints or negatives. The prices aren't that bad these days and the results are awesome.
