Hey all, I've been lurking for a bit and thinking about trying to make my own knife for a while before that. After reading here and videos on youtube I finally decided to give it a try. Here is my first attempt. It's certainly got a ways to go but I've seen plenty of first tries that I don't like as much so I'm fairly pleased with the effort.
I didn't realize how much the flaws in the finish would show up in the photos...they really don't like quite as bad in real life. This was all done with an angle grinder and hand files.
I welcome any comments or critiques. (be gentle...it's my first time
