I finally have a tweener headed my way. I ended up ordering the 17 and am really looking forward to this one. Please feel free to tell about your 17 and the experiences you have had with it.

You are going to love it. My fits so nicely in my hand! Some people with bigger hands had been saying that it left them wanting but I did not find that to be the case. The blade is bigger and has more surface area than I thought it would have, which was a good thing. I have not had a chance to put it to use yet so good luck and let us know how it goes.

I got my 17 and I LOVE it! I carry it the most out of all my tweeners. I'm considering getting the 16ffg just so I have the full set of 4. I am curious about k9's FFOne-Seven. I didn't sign up for his passaround though cause I don't have the time to use it :(

I figure if the grip is too small I can add some nice spacers on the scales to beef it up a touch. I'll report on delivery. Just waiting now.

Tell you about the 17? OK!

it is the uber wunderkind of the Becker world...smexy, sleek, stabby...nimble in the hand, perfect balance.....sharp slicer and strong worker.....just a home-run out of the park as far as I'm concerned. I love mine....the 17 is just something that has to be experienced...I know some folks actually like a drop point, but to me that clip is just the way to go.

I like all my Beckers...but I have a special relationship with the 17.

That passaround knife looked nice. I figure the 17 is small enough to not scare people in town but large enough to do what's needed. Living in western Colorado helps as most people are accustomed to seeing knives and guns on others. My next Becker will probably be either a 5 or a 15 or both. I currently have 2 Remoras, BK14, BK2, BK3 and BK9. At some point I would like to add a BK4 and a BK7 as well. LOL

Like they stated above in regards to the BK-17. I have Medium Gloved Sized Hands but here's mine in hand.

I'm sure you'll love it!

I can only agree. You will love the 17. I have used my more than any other Becker lately. my 45 carbine and green BK17.jpg

When you get through fondling it, send it to me and I'll do the sheath in faded blue denim and the scales in your favorite shirt color, and nobody will know it's there! :D

I tend to use my 14 the most since adding the scales. The 3 stays in my truck. The 2 and 9 share time with other fixed blade knives. I do still wear my Remora pretty often. I really need a 5 and a 15. LOL

I have been waiting by the mailbox for days. You can go wait by yours but you should take a few sandwiches and some water along. LOL

He told me but I drank a lot of whiskey since then. He may chime in with the answer here in a bit.

You do know that unless it's homemade you should not drink more than a couple of bottles a day.
Nevermind, I see your from the Ozarks. Send me a bottle.
