I just got my first Uncle Henry 885UH. I am impressed, very impressed. I picked it up from Ebay for a great price and I wish I had bought one of these years ago. The fit and finish are excellent and the blades have a snap that warms a slipjoint lover's heart. It now resides in my right front pocket and has supplanted all my SAKs and tacticals in one fell swoop. I'll be going after the rest of the Uncle Henry line of folders soon.:)

Here are most of the ones presently in there line. I hope it helps. I agree with you on the quality for the price. LT

I agree, great fit and finish, and perform well also.

I have an 897UH in a Walden, don't see too many of them floating around.

It took me awhile to get used to the staglon handles, as I was more of a Delrin type of guy, but they're growing on me.

It's sad that we miss out on quality like this for one reason or another for so many years. It's nice to get to enjoy them, however, for someday some corporate suit will decide that lines like the UH are too out of date. Let's hope that doesn't happen, though.

Does anyone else find the handles look way too yellow in almost every picture you see? Even on the Schrade website the handles seem to have a lemon yellow tinge to them.

Yeah, I see that too. I thought it was just on the newer ones, though. All the UH I have are light colored, but are also schrade, ny or older.

You're probably right. However, Epictetus doesn't have his own radio show. Never-the-less, I shall give props as necessary. Thanks.
