Hey Guys
This year I was Honored to be asked by several of my previous Scouts who have grown up to Venture age, if I would be their Venture Adviser. This being my Favorite age group to Teach,, I Jumped at the Chance, Secretly Screaming from Inside : "YAH !!! Finally !!!!" .. I've waiting many years to get my own group...
What a Great Bunch of kids I have to admit...
Heres the first outing that our newly formed Venture Company went out on
Got an Eager group so that makes it Fun
My #1 sons girlfriend Bianca using a Cold Steel Frontier Hawk.
This is her first time ever, using sharpened implements of any kind outside of the house
Bianca using my Camper model to push cut
Dan, with the first cut of the weekend.. Knife was a razor sharp Mora M2k..Luckily it was a minor cut on the top of the finger
My Ventures looking through Owl pellets , collecting and identifying bones from animals the Owl has eaten.. There were lots of Squirrel, Rabbit, Mouse and even a Chipmunk bones within the pellets
Checking out some of the different bones
Dan with a mouse skull
Dan using a Condor Latin Machete (Courtesy of Condor and JoeZilla) Awesome piece of steel BTW
