My First Vintage--------Camillus Barlow .

It comes in nearly no edge but good snap. The snap of secondary blade is better and stronger than that of the main one and reminds me of my GEC barlow.

I did a poorly re-edge on it ( With a Spyderco 204:D ) and erased some rust from blades and inner backspring.

Now it is a user and carried instead of my Pingo or SwayBack Jack :) .

Thats a good start to the Vintages, That should take a real nice edge! You should get a few more and pretty soon the Vintage bug will bite bad!
 
Nothing like a Barlow to get you started on the slippery slope of Traditional knife accumulating!
And Camillus made good ones.
Remember to keep the joints lubricated, to preserve the snap!
 
Pretty nifty. I've always found Barlows to posses a certain character in their own right. That particular example looks to be well worn, but not abused by any stretch. All in all I'm sure you will come to enjoy it a great deal.
