The wave damascus is made with a ZDP-189 core. The Inlay is micarta and the gemstone in the thumbstud and button lock is spinel.

She's definitely a keeper, she just got me a ZT 0560 for my b-day.

Don't worry, I shower her with plenty of nice jewelry to keep it fair.

When you said "shes a keeper" not sure you meant your wife or the knife...joke... congrats, and really like the knives.

Nice one. A lot of William Henry designs are over-the-top but this one is nice and understated.

Did your wife pick it out for you? Can't imagine my wife understanding my taste in knives.

Congratulations. That is a great knife. Wish I had one of the EDC series. She is a keeper, i got a Emerson Gentleman Jim for my birthday last year, and the Christmas before that I received a Umnumzaan from Mrs. RD.

I've handled the EDC series before and they are nice. The E-10 is a nice size. The B12 series (which is what mine is) is very similar in size.

She wanted to get me a CRK for my b-day but considering we just got married, she had to set her sites a little lower for now and that's how I got the ZT0560. She got me an s30v Blur a one of my xmas presents last year. She's 3 for 3.

I show her knives all the time so she knows what I like and she really liked the WH knives. She picked it but I wasn't really that surprised when I saw it. I had oogled it online before.

I bet that would costed you the price of used Corolla :D

It really wasn't that bad. Considering the understated and not way overdone nature of it (no 24k gold inlays, mammoth fossils, sapphire gemstones etc etc) it wasn't as bad as some of their other knives.

I'm glad to hear that she indulges you in your hobby, that is a cool thing to happen.
This year, I'll be hinting for a William Henry :D
