Well my first ZT arrived today. I saw it at Bladehq for $100, and decided that I couldn't pass it up.
Here she is.

There she is, that's right it's an 0700!! I absolutely LOVE tantos. It's funny, my first Kershaw was a tanto, and so is my first ZT.

Coolest thing about this knife is that there is NO stop pin!!

I love this knife, a little stiff at the moment, but I just need to break it in. Lock is like a vault. I recommend that everyone get one of these, especially since they're apparently only making 600 this time around. And for $100, you're crazy not to get one.
Hope you enjoyed the pictures, and the thread.

WOW! That is cool. I have a feeling I am going to be spending way more money with ZT/Kersaw than i had planned for.

the more I see of their knives the more i like them than any other productions. Bestest value for the buck imho.

I recently got a Spyderco Southard and it is real nice. but for about $50. more than what a 0560 costs. i could have bought another kershaw.

yeah there is it's internal if you tear it down or hell if u don't u can still see in the pic. There are cut outs in the liners it glides on in a radius motion.

Yeah, I know. I tore it down to lube it. I meant there's not an obviously visible stop pin. Still cool though.

Congrats on the first ZT. Every time I get on BHQ I check out the stonewashed version and have to tell myself no. Sonner or later I'm gonna stop listening to that little voice.

Safe queen or user?

For the first week, or two it'll be a safe queen, then when my babying stage is over I'll use it. I'll probably buy another one, with the SW finish at some point in time. Great knife.

I'll "help" you out.
GET IT NOW!!! It is such a cool knife. The blade, and liner is THICK, so it'll take abuse. The liner is actually a little thicker than the Cryo's framelock. It's not that heavy either, and it just conforms to your hand, it's like the TiLT, super comfortable.

I'm a cheapskate so I got the DLC, instead of the SW.

I like it it's like a zt JYD 2 pretty cool I wonder why its $100 vs $70 compared to the Jyd 2 composite mabyee because it has thumbstuds? I would think the composite blade would cost more to make anyways nice looking knife

I just noticed you have no color in your collection! Congratz on the zt, but get some color in your life btother!
