My wife handed me a $100 bill for my birthday, so yesterday I received a 0350SW that I purchased from pillshovel (great guy to deal with, BTW), and I now realize what I have been missing out on. My first impression is that this is a very high quality knife. Perfect size for me, fits my hand like a glove, plus I'm a fan of stonewashed blades (Kershaw does a marvelous job with this). It's noticeably heavier than my Para 2, but I really don't mind the heft. It feels incredibly solid to me.
I removed the torsion bar this morning (slow morning at work), just like all of my Blurs, and it is as smooth as silk. I was somewhat worried that I would mess up the blade alignment, but it went right back to being perfectly centered after I reassembled it. The detent is still plenty strong enough to keep the blade closed.
I haven't yet figured out how I'm going to use this knife. I know it will probably stand up to whatever I throw at it, but I believe I'll just enjoy its aesthetics for a while before I put it to any hard use. But I do know that this is only the first of several ZT's that will wind up in my collection.
