Steel is cut from a circular saw blade (notice the curve- from the edge of a 10" blade).
Wood is plain ol' maple with a tung oil finish.
Hidden pins, polyurethane glue.
Was cut and shaped with an angle grinder (85%), rest with filing and sandpaper.
