i just got my first emerson cqc 11 and so far i love it i read all the complaints on other thread and i bought one any way thinking there are always going to be people not happy with something and as many knives as they have sold there inst that many complaints
anyway my first impression is fit and finish is outstanding and i am amazed that the hook works so well to open the blade upon draw i think it is cool and the handle fits my hand real good it could be a little thicker but it is a folder not a fixed blade so that is OK and it is sharp i have a bald spot on my arm now i had gotten other knives not this sharp but don't worry i will make it sharper time will tell how good this knife is i have been carrying a benchmade 710 for 5 or 6 years and it is a great knife so this knife has a lot to live up to
thanks for reading and giving me so much of ur time

I'm not going to charge you anything for this one, but ordinarily I get 5 bucks for proofreading.

Depends on how often you open/close the knife. If you're using/manipulating it a couple times a day, I'd give it a week or so before it wears in a bit. If you use it more, it'll happen quicker.

Take a pencil and rub a little lead on it and work it. That's what I did on my SOCFK, now my lockup is perfect.
