I just got a Remora in the mail yesterday that i ordered because i was pretty much broke but still wanted somthing new to play with, and i gotta say this is one kickass little knife.
It's like a BK11 and a SAK had a baby. I allmost feel sorry for my Rat1 and SAK though, because the probbly will be seeing less woods time now.

The first thing i did was cord wrap the handle and make a little braid/knot in the end to get a little more comfortable grip. But then the sumbitch wouldn't lock into the sheat properly, so i made a bunge retention thingy with some elastic cord and a couple of notches in the sheath and topped it off with some duct tape to keep it all in place. Probably wouldn't need the tape, but i put it on there anyway.
Did a quick cordwrap on the sheath too to cover the tape and have a couple of extra ft of cordage handy just in case.

Thanks. I'm pretty happy with it myself.

Took it to the woods today, because i wanted to see how it would stand up to some abuse.
Splitting: No problem.

Doing asisted chopping like a baoss:

The victim has suddenly turned into a nice little pile of kindling.

I like the BK13 a lot, I just don't think it's worth what some people are charging for it.

I keep mine in the companion compartment on my BK9. It's so sharp and easy to cut with I call it my scalpel. I daresay it cuts as easily as a razor blade utility knife.

Dude not a bad little knife for the price point thanks for sharing I must grab 1 ASAP

To be honest i wasn't really thinking about getting a 13 at all, cause i thought it would be too small to be usefull, but it's turned out to be my edc while i wait for "the boss" to approve the purchase of a couple 14's :P
