I just received this knife from Bailey Bradshaw. It is my fortieth birthday present. This is now the prize of my collection -- hands down. The fit and finish is perfect, and Bailey was a pleasure to deal with.

Wow, today was a very good knife day, indeed. :D :D :D

Mark...That's a nice folder, but where's the pocket clip and thumb-studs?.:D.:D.

BTW...40, huh?...I was there 9 years ago...Enjoy your "40-something" years, as they go by quickly.:).

Thanks for the comments everyone.

You folks from Aberdeen are cretans. :D :p

Besides, if I want a pocket clip on it, I'll just pound one on the bolster with a rusty nail. :D

Cretins, eh? Ramones reference time.

There's no stoppin' the cretins from hoppin'
You gotta keep it beatin'
For all the hoppin' cretins

Cretin! Cretin!

I'm gonna go for a whirl with my cretin girl
My feet won't stop
Doin' the Cretin Hop
Cretin! Cretin!

1 - 2 - 3 - 4
Cretins wanna hop some more
4 - 5 - 6 - 7
All good cretins go to heaven

:D :D

The blades are CPM3V, and freaking sharp. :D They are hand finshed at 600 grit. The scales are some of the most beautiful MOP I've ever seen, and are "quilted". The quilting is on the surface and feels very neat. Each diamond of the quilting has a gold pin inlaid. The bolsters are obviousy hand carved. The dimensions are roughly the size of an average small stockman, 3.7 inches long, .75 inches wide, and .5 inches thick, all measured at their maximums. I'd estimate that the knife weighs about 2 oz. All in all, a very tidy little package. :)

Nice looking little knife and a happy 40th to you. I'm 43 and I think that people from Puyallup and Aberdeen are all whackos! ;)

Welcome to the 40-something club. That's a beautiful knife. I especially like the Wharrnie blade.

Yes, we are wackos, but we have good taste in knives. That makes up for much wackiness. :D :p
