It's mine. Not yours, or yours, or his either...
People say your kuk will find you. Mine did :-)
This was a deal of the day due to a crack in the grip and a boo-boo on the scabbard.
It just feels right. The crack filled in nicely, and I tru-oiled it with a semi gloss look.
It cuts like, well, a sharp, ballanced kuk :-) I love the scabbard color and the contrasting belt loop.

Nice pix and post, thank you for sharing

Thats Foxy alright! Nice job on the repair Dino!

Does the FF have a flat spine?

The spine on my new one is rounded, not flat and not the typical v-profile of most HI khukuris.

I've been wondering if this is typical of the model, or just this particular FF. My other FF is put away, so I can't get to it quickly to compare.

Mine is a slightly rounded "V" or would it be "^" ?
I can't tell you how much I like this one.
I think I'll try to make a band (like the belt loop frog) with a pocket to hold a fire starter to cover the boo-boo on the scabbard.

Or send it to Pugs and really make it rock! Cross fingers and hope he sends it back some day. Always got mine back.

I aint talkin to you till you put up some fish pix! V,Y,X it don matta till I see some white fleshy bass!

I was just curious about the wide depth of the blade on the Foxy Folly. Does this cause the blade to to twist when you chop?

Edit and clarification. I don't mean the actual steel bending, but rather twisting in your hand. Just curious.

Best way to find out is to try it, unless like me you consider this knife too beautiful to be a user. My impression is that the Foxy Folly is more a fighting knife than a chopper. Its wide blade is thinner than most HI knives of similar size, due to the two wide fullers. In terms of thinness it resembles some of the old Longleaf military blades, though the FF profile is even wider. A Foxy Folly would cut through meat with no trouble at all, but there are better models for heavy chopping.
