Hello All, I haven't done a Friday knife for some time now... So I'll do one today... I got this different 103 in a collection about two years ago...
It's from the Blue Bag... Let me know what you think about this one... Thanks... I do love Gold...

Thanks for looking... ITE

It's not the best looking 103 but I like it... I just want the blade anyway for my blade collection...

Thanks for looking... ITE ... :D

Buck 103 meets Schrade-Walden H-15? (stacked leather handle with plastic red spacers)

Haebbie, here you go... I'll leave them on for a few hours... It's different and home made... post after you look at the pics... :)

That knife is sort of like the dogs that are so ugly that people find them cute.

It has a certain bizarre charm, but.....yes, it needs a handle.

:)

Why do you remove pictures? Do you always do it, or just on certain knives?

Years from now, people will visit and be so, so curious about just what was in the picture.

:)

BG, just certain knives that no one seem to have a interest in... ;)

Thank you, ITE, for posting the picture.
If you like, send it to me I'll make a new
handle for you and send it back again.

Best,
Haebbie

Surely that is not an original handle, if so what's the story behind it?

Here is what the issued LE with handle would look like.

Armand can tell the story behind his custom LE photo.

I missed the homemade part, but still am curious about the story.

Haebbie, I'm thinking about just taking the handle off and keeping the blade for my blade collection... Thanks for the offer... ITE

st8yd, there not much of a story... I got it in a collection... The guy I got it from just said he put the handle on it for the fun of it...

John, so that's what it's suppose to look like... I think I have all the parts to make it... What kind of wood is yours... Mind doesn't have the number like yours...
I think i'm just going to take the handle off and keep the blade... But yours sure does look sweet and that's a cool box it came in... ITE

Ya personally I think you'd be a step ahead even if you scratched it up trying to take the handle off ;-).
