Kershaw Rake. Good knife, good company, and good service.

It might be just a little over the $70 mark, but it well worth it.

Good luck.

A blem rake would be well within even it its cb. Possibly a blem or user ZT 350 I believe.

There's also the leek In s30v , and OD1.

Ihank you for your ideas, the rake does look great. I have looked through all of the kershaws, are there any non-kershaws I should be aware of? I have never really kept an eye out for assisted flippers.

Kershaw Random Task 2?

Good knife but not a flipper.

Kershaw Turbulance, Kershaw Clash and Volt II to name a few. Does it have to be AO? There are many other flipper options in this price range if AO isn't a requirement.

Kershaw is more or less the go to brand for flippers and assisted.

if your friend was willing to sacrifice the AO then there would be tons of more options like:

kershaw tremor
Kershaw Compound (actually i think this one is AO too)
JYD II
Boker + CLB Direkt
CRKT Eros
CRKT Ripple
CRKT M16/21 (though for these I suggest you find the Aus 8 and Ti handle models)

just to name a few

SOG Twitch XL. Tanto or drop point. Black or graphite anodized aluminum handles. Knife feels great in the hand, looks classy (especially in graphite) and rides very deep in the pocket. You can only see the clip when I carry mine in FRP. Nice size with a little heft to it. Its thin and is barely noticeable in your pocket.

The only assisted knife I have is the Kershaw Leek and I consider it a fantastic EDC knife. I also have a Buck Vantage Pro, but that doesn't fit your criteria because it's an unassisted flipper.
