My Friens Stuck A Walther Folder Through His Foot

We were walking to the river, two miles from any road (South GA USA near Okefenokee Swamp). My friend was playing with the Walther folder I gave him for X-mas. He dropped it and it stuck firm in his foot. He was wearing a mid-weight cordura hiking book. The knife went through like butter almost all the way through, between his big toe metatarsal and the second toe metacarsal. He was fine, but man what a knife. I bought one for my father.
 
I did that with one of my hunters once. It hit my foot higher up and stuck in the top of my foot, missed an artery by about 1/8". Luckily I was due fior a new pair of boots anyway, that heavy leather didn't slow it down at all.
 
which walther folder was it? I have few of the allied forces and I would completely understand if it was that model as the ones I have are quite capable of penetrating a boot.
 
Damn sorry to hear about that - I started my big toe on fire last night if it makes you feel any better (shouldn't have been grinding in sandals. :grumpy: :D )
 
It was the Allied Forces in black with the serrated edge. I like the knife myself, it has nice balance.
 
Wow.., major OUCH! Glad your friend is OK, nicking a tendon is bad news..., and it sounds like it was awfully close from your description.
 
One day, while walking down to a pond with a friend, I was tossing my Ontario Survival Bowie and catching it(STUPID!!!). Well, one time I misjudged and missed the knife, and it landed point first, right in the middle of my index toe. I pulled it out and continued walking, though with a little limp now, before my friend noticed what had happened. The worst part about it was that it put a hole in my waterproof boots. I still have a nice little scar from that one.
