Well lately I have been getting into black powder shooting. Figured I should have a primitive style blade to go with the rifle, so I came up with this one. It is sort of a wide Scottish dirk in blade style. I even added some very simple filework. The mill scale was left on so the texture and dark shade remains. The slabs are made from some pakawood I have in the shop and are contoured nicely to fit my paw. Overall it is 14 5/8 with an 8 3/4 blade. All I have left to do is get some leather next week for a sheath.
