Nice GeofS

I was at a reptile garden outside of Rapid City, SD, and they had a few giant tortoises there. This is a photo of "Methuselah", 120 years old at the time. It was 2010.

Thanks, fellas.

There were a lot of those stairs, my pics don’t do it justice. Some of the wood was rotting and others were covered in sand. Those were sketchy. It was extremely hot too. Got very sunburned.

Very cool. They are very impressive creatures.

There's a kinda crazy, yet interesting documentary called "The Galapagos Affair: Satan Came to Eden"
It's about people in the 1930's who fled the hectic life of the big cities/civilization..... And rusticated in the Galapagos Islands..... And all the drama that came from it. I think it's funny how people Way back then felt that way.

Pretty awesome trip!

That must have been North Seymour island. Seymour island just has Penguins not blue footed boobies. It’s in Antarctica.

Sorry I had to say something. It’s the first and probably the last time that useless piece of trivia will ever be useful. The Seymour Islands don’t come up in conversations very often. Lol!

Thanks for the cool pictures.
