Not a vast collection but their my girls. The Mistress will likely be retired when I get a Steel Heart but you never know.i handled a buddies Fusion Battle Mistress and discovered a few things. I much prefer the assymetrical grind on a chopper and while the handles on the fusion were far superior in comfort to my old straight handle,it just felt ponderous without the lively feeling of my old Mistress.Anyway just thought i'd share a pic.

Looks like you are pretty well equipped to me. There is truly no need for a large collection of them. You can never wear them out and rumor has it that you can't take em with ya but ???????

I've got an old Mistress I'm trying to get rid of. She keeps calling. "I'm sorry Ms. Welch. I just don't have the time for you anymore." LOL

That's an old Mistress. . . with sheath. . . AND with box. . . AND with original directions. WHOA!

If you want, you can retire her at my house. ;)

Doesn't really look like it in the pic but the Mistress is a user.It sat pristine in a box for years as I had other less expensive blades but she called to me to put her to work.Just a fantastic blade, eats up anything thrown in front of it and begs for more.Iv'e done everything from skinning squirrels to clearing land to building rustic furniture,I even dispatched a shark that was none too happy about being hauled up on deck.I don't know if you can take it with you but this ones going in the box with me.I'll have to buy more INFI to leave to my sons.

Did you know that the SHBM's steel is nearing the end of it's usefull life. At 8-10 years, the steel looses it's strength and ability to stay sharp. So you will need to get a new one. I have some new FBM's, that I could replace it for you. I am the Busse Replacement Shop, New for old.

RIIIIIIIGHT :D That is especially true of INFI because the hydrogen in it slowly seeps out and mixes with oxygen over time. Don't you guys notice that INFI gets a little sweaty sometimes? After a certain amount its impact resistance and wear resistance goes down the drain. At that point it is more useless than even the cheapy 440A stainless.

I am really surprised that Cobalt is such a giver that he is willing to trade his new stuff for the older useless INFI.

THIS IS JUST A JOKE!

Cobalt, your'e a true gentleman.i'd heard that hogs were a tight bunch but to offer a shiny new blade to replace my old worn out soon to be worthless knife :o well,i'm touched.and not in a creepy Uncle kind of way which is refreshing. But I think i'll keep her, maybe use it for a fire poker or under my drill press to level it :p.

well, ok, if you say so, but please know that when the blade disintegrates in approximately 1 year, you will only have the micarta handles left.

PS: what kind of stock is that on your M1A1

The stock is a G.I. fiberglass that I modded.Shortened the butt and fitted a steel checkered buttplate, built up the pistol grip to more vertical, added texture, put in a small ridge to keep fingers off the op rod, internally reinforced the front end and added a small rail.In the last pic it's sitting next to my standard length with an unmodified g.I. fiberglass stock to give a better idea of how much was changed.

nice, I have been considering one of those tactical stocks for mine but at 600 smackers, I can buy another gun or knife.
