This year marks 30 years that my wife and I have been together. I consider this a milestone because we were very young when we met. I was 16 and she was 15. We were married at age 19 & 18. We have been through alot through the years being able to raise two children, my son 23 and my daughter is 13, bought our own home, several new vehicles and all the other expenses in life. We managed to do it with just me working in a grocery store as a nite stock clerk for the last 28 years. My wife has stayed home and has taken care of all of us. She is the most giving person I know and I don't know what I'd do without her in my life. She supports my habits like knifemaking and hunting and is very understanding when I wonder how she puts up with me. I feel very lucky to have the great family I have and I'm very proud. I also enjoy everyone here and feel this is family too.

Congratulations, Scott. You story sounds very much like mine, but two years longer! Yep, I married my childhood sweetie, and its been pretty good ever since. Sounds like you got the same goodness going...

...may it last forever, my friend! ;)

Congrats!

Three months from today I will be tying the knot. ;)

Congrats, that is something to be very proud of, especially now days where it seems marriage is more of a novelty for some.

Congrats again and I wish you at least 30 more.

Thanks guys. If there's one thing I've done right in my life this has to be it. Congrats to you Higgy and to you Michael. Marriage these days is taken for granted. It's something you and your spouse have to work at. I'm the type of person who does not give up easily. When the chips are down, I try harder. It's the same with knifemaking, no matter what happens, I will not give up. I'll only try harder and get better.

Congrats, Scott!

Coming up on 10 myself soon.....
