Hey guys, I know you're prolly getting tired of me posting pictures of my custom 110 but I finally made it outside to take some pics of my custom 110. I've wanted this setup for awhile and was never able to find one just the way I want. So I had to have one made. It's not easy when you want nickle/silver bolsters, Elk slabs and a 5160 blade. Leroy was out of nickle/silver so it had to start out it's live in the Buck Custom Shop. But they didn't have any blades in 5160. So that where Leroy came it. He did the Elk slabs and 5160 blade. It took a long time and prolly more money than it's actually worth but I don't care because it's not for sale. It's my grail 110.
Without further adu...

Great knife, that elk looks amazing! 🍺
You have every right to be pleased and proud. That is a handsome knife. I'd not get tried of looking it, post as many photos of it as you'd like.
Thanks y'all. I went thru alot to get her starting out with asking if anybody had a 110 in 5160. Nobody had or wanted to part with one in 5160 and I understood. That and this was my gift to myself for getting thru 7 weeks of chemo and radiation along with losing 95 pounds. I'm still dealing with side effects. I've never been hungry for 10 months nor have any taste buds. I live on three smoothies a day with weight gain powder mixed in.

Thanks again everybody. I look at all of you as Buck aficionados. Experts if you will. I had my choice between drop point and clip point and you see what I chose. This will make some of you cringe but the reason I chose clip point is if I'm out in God's wild blue yonder and need to do some battoning, this baby will have to perform. Leroy even said it could take it.
I hope alot of you don't hate me for that. My knives are all users. To me it'd be like having a '69 Z28 in the garage and only driving it a handful of days out of a year. I say, drive that puppy or use that knife. :)
