My Grail Annual Palm wood !

I just want to thank RiverRat84 aka James in helping me get, what i would call my grail CRK Annual.He went out of his way to make sure it arrived as fast as possible to it's new home.My story goes way back to 2007 when i first laid eyes on her.You know that rush and emotional feeling that we all go thru.Well for me the chase begins:eek:I have bookmark all post,pictures and you tube video regarding this knife.I envied all who had posses her with there great stories.Yes,the Palm wood has finally found a permanent home here in the islands.Warm trade winds,sunny skies,sandy beach.Life is good!:D
 
I almost pulled the trigger on that knife. I offered James a trade for it but I didn't have the right knife. I spent 5 years in the South Pacific in Papua New Guinea and I know about the amazing black palm. The people used it to use it for their bows and long spears. Incredibly strong and beautiful stuff. Some people think it's ugly, I think it's gorgeous! I'm glad it found a great home with someone who really knows what the black palm is all about!
 
Good to hear you got a knife you really wanted....what an awesome feeling! Congrats!
 
That knife really gets around, wish I was there. I can say that it is a beauty since I did own it for a while.

I've seen that one on the block a few times, and was tempted each time. It's a beauty. Congrats, enjoy it! :thumbup:
