My Grail...finally

I just want to thank Sal and the spyderco crew.:thumbup::thumbup: for seven years I've been carrying a Large , and small sebenza, I just got rid of them. I now carry a Sage 2!!! the only 2 things I didn't like about the sebenza were the thumbstud and no flat grind. Sage does away with the studs, is sized right between the small and large and is flat ground. It was almost perfect. I pulled off the clip and drilled a lanyard hole. (sorry no pics) I anodized it purple and now it is perfect!!! :D:D

I guess I need to get another as a backup. Be probably another seven or eight years until I buy another folder. :thumbup:

GDWTVB, Sounds like this is the one for you! I too removed my clip when I had a Sebenza paid like $20.00 for the little cover to fill the depression where the clip secured. only thing I don't like about the Sage2 is it has an open spine. That is another reason I didn't like the Sebenza. Sure would like to see a picture of your mod.

Does the Sage have any sort of a stop pin, or is it held solely by the liner?
