hi all,

today i received a very special, to me, knife. i remember this knife as a young child. the poor thing has been taken to a grinder at one point in its life but hey, it's still sharp! if i could trace my knife addiction to one particular blade it would be this one

Glad to see it gun, thats great to have a piece of nostalgia and family history to remember. Enjoy it. I cant see the tang real well...2 dot?

Thanks for sharing that special 110, gundude73, enjoy it and all that goes with it.
Looks to have been well used and that is what it was for. Sharpening on the grinder, NOT . But that is how some sharpened their knives. Goes with the history of the knife. Preston

Very cool that you have your Grandad's knife. It looks well used and that's an indication of his liking for it. It's not really in bad shape for a true working knife that old. I've seen much newer ones in way worse shape. Treasure that one!

Thanks for sharing gundude!

It may be a two dot, but it is an early example of a two dot. Notice that it only has two pins for the slabs. Thank you gundude for showing it. HL

Don't lose that thing, Brother. Or get it mixed up with other 110s, so that your kids don't know what is what.

I'm just saying.

Very nice knife, do you plan on actually using it? I have about 5-6 little pen knives that my grandfather gave me I wish I could use but I'm too paranoid that they would get damaged or lost.

Thanks for sharing, it really is a nice knife that has seen alot of use.
