Hello,
I received my Grandfathers old camp knife after he passed away and I was hoping someone could help me (1) determine its age and
(2) point me to a good place to have it restored since its in rough condition.
I don't have much from his estate and this old beat up knife is important to me.

Thank you for the help.

My assumption is that this knife was made in the 80s.
I could be wrong, so the best solution is to wait for a response from Tom Williams.

What do you base that on? From the stories surrounding this knife ( if its the correct one ) I know it's a good bit older.

Probably I did was wrong.
This knife was made in the period from the 60s to the 80s.
Camillus made this model in two patterns - #14 (until 80s) and #5779 (from 80s).
I asked a lot of questions to Tom Williams, but did not understand how they differ.
Before, I thought that the point difference is a screwdriver (for #14 is long, for #5779 is short).
Now I have more carefully examined the materials that are sent to me Tom Williams, and I realized that it was wrong. A pattern #14 had both types of screwdrivers.
