Hi guys, I figured for my first post here I would share a knife that for as long as I can remember was always carried by my grandfather. Whether he was in the yard or at the store, he always had this on him. I was beyond happy when my grandmother gifted it to me after his passing. I still use it the same way he did- on anything that needed to get cut.

One of the best things is that this thing is still super sharp.

That's a beautiful piece, i have never seen a frost or mora with that blade profile.

That's a good knife from Frosts, Mora of Sweden.
Don't know if You read Swedish, but the text on the blade means "Stainless With Sharpness"!
Obviously not too strong words! :D

Enjoy!

That is a thing of beauty. I recent found a few folders that my grandpa gave me many years ago. Had some fun reminiscing. I need to clean them up, a couple are pretty nice knives.

I would not use it at all. I would put it up so I could leave it to my children like he did.

Same here. I will look on eBay and search around the web for it every now and then and I haven't seen one like it.

Spot on with the writing on the knife. This thing holds an edge great.

That looks nice
Do you know anything about its history

I have no idea about it. I may e-mail Frosts and see if they know when it was made or know where it was distributed.

Trust me I am very cautious when I use it. It will certainly be passed along in the family.

I can just picture the original knife designer think to himself that he was going to design something beautiful and practical the day that he made that one! Nice hand me down!!!
