One of the things I remember most about my grandpa besides the rubber band guns he used to make me or his love for fishing, was his love of grapes and the seedless green grapes he grew.
Quite a while ago I found his old Ontario true edge grape hook that was in need of a new handle.
So yesterday I found and old piece of deer stag I had laying around and decided it might make a nice handle.
For now it's just tightly press fit, but I think it'll be more than acceptable for pruning our yellow roses.

It may not be perfect, but I can always refine the fit of the collar a little more.

Very nice. Looks like that old knife is ready to make some more memories.

Thanks !
I kinda wish it had been the full tang 8-3 model, but still it's a great knife ( on the Ontario website it's under 10$ and listed as 1095 )
The stag has a few cracks in it, but it shouldn't be a problem.
We actually have grapes growing in our backyard, but we didn't plant them and don't take care of them.
Maybe I should learn how and start picking them when they really grow.
