I have a ZT, a couple kershaw and an Ontario rat 1. But I have more spyderco than anything. I feel that the quality and reliability just trumps other brands. The pm2 is the one I've had the longest, then I picked up the Delica 4 ffg, then the manix 2 and then the native 5. Be just purchased the techno and expecting it tomorrow. But spyderco just does a great job with ergonomics. They're super easy to take apart to clean and maintain. When I first saw a spyderco I though they looked really weird and wasn't a fan of the spyderhole. But now I think they'd more attractive and unique than other blades which mainly have a drop point blade with thumb studs. Although spyderco is a huge fan of the leaf shape blade, I feel there are many variants in each blade. I ended up choosing the techno over the chubby as an homage to my polish background. Super excited for it to come in

 You have 4 of the most popular knives in Spyderco's lineup. I suggest adding a Dragonfly. They're really handy little knives.

Endura or military next I suppose. As much as I love my pm2, I actually think I'd prefer the Endura in some crazy "you can only keep one" scenario. The problem with spyderco is that just about every knife they make could last you a lifetime and checks off almost every edc box, so it's really hard to choose which one to stick in the pocket.

Well, you managed to pick some of the best. Let us know what you think of the Techno when it comes in. I have yet to handle one. I have large thick hands so I worry that it will be too small for me. But I love the looks of the Techno.

vary nice, yea the other brands just don't do anything for me!i love the quality in spyderco knifes, plus one hand opening trumps all others.:)

Nice sir! Time to add a Gayle Bradley to the line up. :D
how is the M4? Never handled that steel. I only have experience with s30v for the most part, s35vn, vg10, d2 and my friend let me use his ZT with Elmax once but that's about it. I mostly care about edge retention. Hardness is important, but everything has its pros and cons. Corrosion resistance isn't super important because I take care and maintain all my blades. Great recommendation!

I'd go with a Dragonfly, Mantra, or Chaparral next. I have all three, and they're all great, as well as a Techno and a Delica. You've got a great set of Spyderco knives to start, and welcome to the Spydie addiction. :)

Nice collection - I have the Techno in s30V steel and love it. I carry it at 4:00 in my waist band and it just disappears. Let us know what you think of your new Techno

M4 just keeps cutting and cutting. Holds a working edge for a long time and is a tool steel so it's tough also. The hollow grind on the GB1 & 2 really gets the most out of that steel. A lot of knife for the money.

I love my Techno. Best fit and finish of any knife I own. My GB1 is a close second.

So shocked at how small yet big this knife is. Fit and finish is amazing, no sharp edges, just overall very refined. The person I bought it from got it professionally sharpened and now has a nice mirror edge on it. Really happy with this purchase. I think next will be either: the southard, gayle bradley, chaparral, or one of the sages. Maybe even the domino. I also want the Yojimbo 2 because imo it's basically a wharncliffe version of the paramilitary 2 (please don't shoot me for saying that)

Thanks for looking guys!

If you're anything like me (or most of the Spyderco fans on here) I think you'll end up with all those and then some. I started out only wanting a few good folders to rotate each day. Now I think I have over 30 knives and still adding more.

Their kind of like Lay's Potato Chips. Remember the old commercial bet you can't eat just one. For me the Spyderco's seem to be the same way. As soon as I acquire one I'm already researching my next purchase. Seriously thinking about a Sage 1.

So....I have a southard coming in the mail soon. Found a bargain for $165. Lightly used, factory edge, no aesthetic imperfections, mint condition. So I'm excited. Of course after I buy it I read a thread on here that there is a weak spot in the tang of the knife, a large cut out that doesn't stand up to abuse. But I don't intend on a using it anyways. Just normal use. I tend to save hard use applications for my esee 3

Thanks for the pics.
My Techno from BladeHQ should be here in a few hours.
Looks really cool with the thick blade, stonewashed finish, smoothed edges, matte screws and clip, and the overall design.
If I like it as much as I think I will I'm going to order a Carbon Fiber backspacer.

I've had my techno for a few weeks and I must say it just feels like a little hunk of quality in your hand. Mines a little stiff opening but locks up super solid. I've played with the pivot and taken it apart and cleaned it because when I received it there seemed to be grease in and around the pivot. The techno and southard make a hell of a combo. The southard is in my pocket right now, it's also an amazing knife
