my gun show finds

went to a local small gun show saturday. this particular one is held by houston gun collectors association. i consider it the good show because alot of vendors have tubs on their tables of junk you can dig through. several vendors had tubs of knives to dig through. my digging found these two. not the purtiest but servicable considering i paid 25 for the pair. i will likely send the 317 in for spa treatment. anyone know where i can find the shield for the 705?
there were other nicer examples but they were asking more than i was willing to pay.

I would have had a hard time passing those up. I love little finds like those.

I don't know the dimensions of the 705 shield off the top of my head, but it may well be the same shield used on current production 300 series knives. It might be worth contacting Buck and see it that's the case.

^ I think it may be the same size as the hammer shield but for those models Buck used a script shield. Some nice finds.
You made it around alright in Houston? DM
