Yes indeed , great looking knife, how did u do the metalwork and the woodwork, sounds interresting?

O-1 tool steel ,12 & 1/2 inches long ,6 1/2 inch blade,6 inch handle,2 5/8 inches at widest point of blade and 1/4 inch thick,and oak slabs and stainless pins for the handle.
 
That thing looks like a nightmare to grind. How many other knives have you done before? Congrats :)
 
I'm thinking of trying my hand at this style in 5160. How did you do the sawteeth? What type of grinder do you have? I was curious if you used a special technique on a particular grinder. BTW, nice job.

I like the finish too. Did you leave it as heat treated or is that a special finish. Looks rustic, very cool.

Very nice blade70714. It looks really robust. I love the oak slabs, look strong too. I love oak wood. It's a noble wood. The blade seems to be more sharp than the original. It's a good work.
