Even after a few weeks now I am still very impressed with the light, it was pricey but worth every dime.

I love my Ultimate 42. It does everything and has helped end my flashlight addiction.

What is the difference between the Basic and Ultimate with regard to the brightness levels? Are the four brightness levels of the Basic set at the factory and cannot be changed?
