I figured I would start a thread explaining my hiatus from Bladeforums the last few weeks, I had a few people reaching out to me to see if I was okay due to my noticable drop in activity online. I appreciated the concern and simply explained I was sick and then behind/busy with work and family. I have a tendency to let these things go when I get to busy to juggle it all. I apoligize if anyone was concerned about me, or I havent replyed to your correspondence in a timely manner. Good news is I am caught up after a few weeks of really long days and nights at the shop. I plan on resting for a day or two and then getting back at it. I will catch up on post and emails tonight and into the weekend. I appreciate everyones continued support and interation on the forums.

I will post a preview tomorrow or Saturday of the DLT batch I just finished up. Alot of nice ones in this batch something for everyone.

Great to hear Chris. We all need a break at times.

Today's batch is awesome BTW!!

Health and Family above all. Glad to see you are feeling better and caught up with work.

That was quite the order to complete all on your own, while being under the weather. Looking forward to seeing the completed knives going to DLT.

Thanks Danny, it was quite an undertaking indeed 12 knives for DLT along with the 3 a week I post on Thursdays anf the handfull of custom orders I am working on as well. I didnt take a day off, I couldnt afford to, and even if I did I would know that I would have to work just that much harder, so I sucked it up and pushed on, slowed me down a good bit.

But in the end I am pretty proud of this batch and all my work latley, I just need to learn to pace myself better.

Well, that's dedication and ambition to say the least! And we all appreciate it too. Thank you.

Now next time, maybe promise smaller batches spread out over time?? Just a thought. Wait, can I take that back? I'm so conflicted. LOL

Chris it looks like you're well blessed with friends here. That said it's good to hear that you're on the upside of it now. Thanks for the things you do so well here!

If you work while sick you end up with a knife in your thigh... better to take a couple days to admire the sun and the earth so your body can heal.

Thank you for all of the encouragement and support guy's! I took a day of this weekend and rested a bit and I am alreadt feeling better. I have the DLT order complete and focused on getting back on track.
