Rick was nice enough to sell me one of his pens when I met him at TDI last weekend...really like it!

Man that looks sweet! My sons like theirs too, I have a BIC (I lost the cap and its chewed):o

What? No o-rings? Huh.

All kidding aside, nice pen.
I like my Investigators. Pocket a brass one even while in gym or lounge clothes. Small enough not to get in the way for most activities. A few times I have forgotten its in my pocket and grab a pen off the table or desk.

There was an O ring in my package. Where does it go? Why is it needed? There were no instructions so I wasn't sure. On watches, an O ring is used to help with water intrusion into the watch case at the crown...but I didn't think water inside the pen case was a big deal.

Normally through the week I have one of these in my shirt pocket:

Or one of these:

I like pens too. :D

Mont Blach for the professional win!

Cool, are the fountain pens? I'm sorry, writing instruments.

I started an o-ring on Investigators thread in the Hinderer forum, it may be on page 2 or 3 by now. Worth a look. Many use o-rings for comfort and/or to better secure the removable pen cap. Pesky thing can come loose from time to time.

2-tone subbie is not my favorite, but I like what you did with the pens to compliment the watch.

Did I mention I have a really cool capless/chewed Bic? Anybody wanna see a Pic?

John if you start rocking pics of your BatCave Ferrari Garage and walk-in Gun Safe room - you will be found (just sayin':))

But seriously, I know it ain't your iPhone. What are you taking those photos with? a Hasselblad? The depth of field and colors! Beautiful!

The two Montblanc Starwalkers are rollerballs, and the Meisterstuck is a ball point. My handwriting is atrocious - a fountain pen isn't going to help that unfortunately. :(

I'll look for that thread. I'm a child of the 80's....still love yellow gold:

Hey Rolex John, nice pens you have there, I'm partial to watches/pens also.

These are some of the pens in my daily rotations.

I seem to be focusing heavy use on one pen though, my late 1970s 149, lovely nib.

Still, it would be rude to not pick up a Hinderer pen, do they come with a compass?

LOL! No Ferrari Garage (they don't do well in Ohio....) and no gun safe (I keep 'em where I can get to them if needed...) so I think I'm safe. :p

I'm a member of Canon Professional Services and shoot with all Canon gear...I'm now using a 5D Mark III.

Nice pics Jay, and lovely Panny!

No compass...yet. Perhaps a compass tip/attachment is in the works. :D

I was very young in the 80's. Do not remember them well, but love the movie Wall Street. The new one, not so much.
Anyway, I am not the gold watch type. An accent here and there, some white or rose, all can be cool. I just like my gear rugged and simple not ornate. Very personal thing, everyone differs in opinion and that's what keeps it interesting.
