This one has a 7" blade, 1/4" thick, with a scandi grind and tan micarta handles. I`m going to give it a workout this weekend and report back on how it worked.

Hi Stomper -

Cool knife! Nice picture of it too!

It will be interesting to see you in action with it!

best regards -

John you knocked it out of the park with that one.

That always looks like such a hardcore knife! Any chance of getting pictures of the handle contours?

I think you chose the right handle material for that bad boy.

The scandi grind is way cool.

I took it out to the shop this morning to do a little testing.

This was after 12 chops on a 1 1/2" oak rod.

20 chops and I was through.

It did decent on shaving curls.

I can`t wait to get this one out for some real testing

Hey John I'm out to my cabin next week-end send it to me, I'll test it for you against my Lobo...:) This Hudson Bay as a nice design!!!!!

I posted these pics in W&SS, and got absolutely 0 replies.

You will John.....I think Hudson Bays are an acquired taste even for the most diehard outdoorsman. Most I have handled have had a longer blade design and I did not really care for them. Your shorter blade however is much more appealing to me.:thumbup:

Soon!!!!! John, that may be the best looking knife that you have made yet and as you know, i have seen a lot of your knives. That one is beyond any more words. I will see that one in my dreams.

My thoughts exactly. I love that knife.
